Northern country presence – Prince Albert Daily

There was a strong northern presence at last weekend’s Saskatchewan Country Music Awards in Saskatoon.

A total of seven northern artists were nominated as country music fans gathered to honour the best in Saskatchewan country music.

Parkside’s Kesley Fitch was the big winner, bagging two awards for her performance of Lights of a Combine.  Fitch took home the Video of the Year Award, and the Song of the Year (composer) Award.
