(March 23, 2026 – Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI)
Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) is pleased to see the priorities identified in Ikajuqtigiika, the 7th Assembly’s mandate released today. The commitment to strengthen Inuit self determination through the implementation of the Nunavut Agreement and the four pillars identified in Ikajuqtigiikta align with NTI’s organizational priorities outlined in Inungnik Makipalliatittiniq 2025-2029.
“NTI remains committed to working constructively with the Government of Nunavut (GN) and Members of the Legislative Assembly to advance our shared priorities, namely in the areas of housing, pre-employment training and Inuit employment plans, mental health and elder care” said President Irngaut.
NTI and the GN renewed the Nunavut Partnership Committee in December 2025 and within the Katujjiqatigiinniq Protocol, both parties have agreed to strengthen working relations and increase accountability.
