The Legislative Assembly of Nunavut’s Standing Committee on Oversight of

Government Operations and Public Accounts will be holding hearings from November 24-25, 2015, on the most recent reports of the Languages Commissioner of Nunavut and the Inuit Uqausinginnik Taiguusiliuqtiit (Inuit Language Authority).

The Standing Committee’s hearings will take place in the Chamber of the Legislative Assembly and are open to the public to observe from the Visitors’ Gallery.

The committee’s proceedings will be televised on local community cable stations and direct-to-home satellite service on the Bell (channel 513) and Shaw (channel 289 – classic / channel 489 – new lineup) networks.
