The Ontario Native Basketball Invitationals is coming to Timmins, ON from Feb. 26-28, 2016.

The 2016 ONBI is presented by the Aboriginal Sport & Wellness Council of Ontario in partnership with the Mushkegowuk Council.

“Although we have our challenges with the delivery of organized sport in our remote communities, we still find ways to produce some very talented young individuals and teams in many sports. Providing high-level competition for our young people is very important for their personal development and we are very excited and honoured to co- host this major provincial sport event. We will certainly do our best to make this an exciting and memorable time for all participants” says Grand Chief Jonathon Solomon.
