Prairie Tides Community Healing is proud to announce that it is now open and accepting clients and referrals for outpatient therapy services. The centre offers a range of counselling supports designed to meet the diverse needs of children, youth, families, and caregivers in a safe, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed environment.

Prairie Tides Community Healing provides individual therapy for children, youth, and parents. Each clinician brings their own integrative therapeutic approach, blending multiple evidence-based modalities to create personalized healing experiences. Sessions are designed to be safe, supportive spaces where clients can move at their own pace and receive the therapeutic support that aligns with their needs.

Prairie Tides Community Healing is proud to have clinicians certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™ (NMT™).  NMT™ Assessments explore how trauma and adversity have shaped a young person’s brain development and functioning. These insights guide the development of individualized healing plans that target the areas of the brain most affected, ensuring youth receive the right supports, in the right order, at the right time.

The multidisciplinary team at Prairie Tides Community Healing delivers counselling, assessments, and holistic supports that help shape individualized therapeutic plans. In addition to serving families directly, Prairie Tides offers contract counselling, assessments, and therapeutic services for children and youth supported by Child and Family Services, Jordan’s Principle, and other service providers. The team specializes in coordinated, trauma-informed care that promotes regulation, connection, resilience, and long-term well-being.

Prairie Tides Community Healing also works closely with community-based organizations to ensure families are connected to the resources and networks that can support their broader healing journey. Through a wraparound model incorporating family voice, and community engagement, Prairie Tides aims to help children and youth build lasting strength, safety, and connection.
