Press Release – THE PAS—The Manitoba government will fund four new infrastructure projects in Manitoba’s north that will support the communities of Norway House and Cormorant, Aboriginal and Northern Affairs Minister Eric Robinson announced here today
“These new projects will help reduce their operating costs and improve recycling efficiency in these communities,” said Minister Robinson. “Our government is dedicated to helping improve our communities and protecting the environment.”
The minister announced the following projects:
snow-clearing services in the community for residents, service vehicles and emergency response vehicles;
“These green infrastructure projects are good news for northern Manitoba. Our provincial investments today will provide communities with safe drinking water, clean and clear roads and will help the future development of these communities,” Minister Robinson added.
