PSA – Community Meeting to Discuss Proposed Lots for Residential Development

The City of Iqaluit would like to invite residents to a Community Meeting to share their thoughts, ideas, and any concerns about proposed lots for residential development.

The City is proposing to extend Joamie Court to create new lots near Joamie School. The proposed lots would be mainly low and medium density residential development.

The City is also proposing to rezone 3 existing lots to allow residential development. There are 2 lots located in Tundra Ridge and 1 lot in the Lake Subdivision.

Community maps have been prepared and will be available to help this discussion.

The Community Meeting will be held at Joamie School on Wednesday, May 11th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
