Pursuit leads to 7 arrests – drug trafficking charges

On October 15, 2025, at approximately 2:00 AM Manitoba First Nations Police Service officers in Opaskwayak Cree Nation attempted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed into The Pas and eventually became stuck in snow. Along with the assistance of The Pas RCMP, 7 adult occupants were taken into custody.

Investigation led to the discovery of a high-capacity magazine (prohibited device), ammunition, blunt weapons, and suspected cocaine.

Dakota Sanderson (27) of Thompson, MB, was remanded into custody with the following charges:

– Flight from police

– Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

– Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose

– Carrying a concealed weapon

– Possession of a prohibited device in a motor vehicle

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

– Fail to comply with probation order

Clifford Campbell (20) of The Pas, MB, was remanded into custody with the following charges:

– Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose

– Carrying a concealed weapon

– Possession of a prohibited device in a motor vehicle

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

– Fail to comply with probation order

Dallas Campbell (32) of Moose Lake, MB, was remanded into custody with the following charges:

– Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose

– Carrying a concealed weapon

– Possession of a prohibited device in a motor vehicle

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

– Fail to comply with a Release Order

Roderick Campbell (21) of The Pas, MB, was remanded into custody with the following charges:

– Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose

– Carrying a concealed weapon

– Possession of a prohibited device in a motor vehicle

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

Charles Head (27) of Winnipeg, MB, was remanded into custody with the following charges:

– Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose

– Carrying a concealed weapon

– Possession of a prohibited device in a motor vehicle

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

– Fail to comply with probation order

Judeana Moore (23) of The Pas, MB, was remanded into custody with the following charges:

– Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose

– Carrying a concealed weapon

– Possession of a prohibited device in a motor vehicle

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine

– Fail to comply with an Undertaking

Melody Umpherville (19) of The Pas, MB, was released on a Release Order with the following charges:

– Possess weapon for a dangerous purpose

– Carrying a concealed weapon

– Possession of a prohibited device in a motor vehicle

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
