Taking place April 22, this year’s Earth Day has a theme of ‘Our Power, Our Planet’
Rainbow District School Board schools will honour our planet Mother Earth Shkagamikwe for Earth Day on April 22.
Earth Day is an annual event that celebrates environmental achievements and, more importantly, raises awareness about the need to protect natural resources for future generations, said a press release.
This year’s theme “Our Power, Our Planet” aims to foster a widespread commitment to clean air, safe water and climate resilience to build a healthy, sustainable, equitable and prosperous future for all.
