RCMP investigating a fatal motor vehicle incident in Kugluktuk

Kugluktuk, NU – April 18, 2021

On April 18, 2021 at approximately 7:45 pm the Kugluktuk RCMP were notified of a snowmobile accident causing death.

During a snowmobile race, as part of the Nattiq Frolics, a racer lost control of their snowmobile causing an accident. Race officials ran to the racer and immediately called for the ambulance. The racer was rushed to the health centre where they succumbed to their injuries.
