Re-appointment of three members of the Peacekeepers Services Board

(Kahnawake – 10 Kenténha/October 2025) The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke
wishes to inform the community that three members of the Peacekeepers Services
Board have reached the end of their mandate and have been re-appointed for
another three (3) year term.

The following Peacekeeper Service Board Members were re-appointed by Mohawk
Council Executive Directive, effective October 6, 2025, until October 5, 2028:

• Leanda Johnson,
• Elizabeth Montour, and
• Alexandrea Sandra Jacco.

“I would like to thank these women for their dedication and willingness to give back to
the community of Kahnawà:ke,” said Ratsénhaienhs Ryan Montour, Public Safety
lead. “Community Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and their volunteer efforts play
a vital role in supporting the Peacekeepers.”
