Join the Métis Nation as we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day on Sunday, June 21 with the Métis Jig & Jam Variety Show!

The Métis Nation Jig and Jam Variety Show will broadcast live eight hours of the best in Métis entertainment.  Watch world-class Jiggers and Fiddlers perform and experience Métis culture firsthand.  Take the time to learn more about the history of the Manitoba Act, Louis Riel and the fight of the Métis for rights while watching four vignettes produced specifically for this year.

2020 marks the 150th anniversary of the Métis Nation joining the Canadian federation through the establishment of the Province of Manitoba as Canada’s fifth province through the efforts of President Louis Riel and his Métis Provisional Government.

In these unique times, and to celebrate the role the Métis played in Manitoba joining confederation, we invite you to join us online for the Métis Nation Jig and Jam Variety Show, as we gather and celebrate what it means to be Métis.
