Edmontonians are encouraged to share their vision of Edmonton in 2050, as well as share their ideas for how to get closer to the 2050 vision in the next 10 years.

City Council is renewing its strategic plan for 2019 – 2028. Edmontonians are invited to advise and refine the draft strategic goals, as well as the draft vision for Edmonton in 2050, through a series of family-friendly, drop-in public engagement sessions. Media are welcome to attend these sessions

There will be hourly presentations and self-guided stations with staff on hand to answer questions and capture ideas.

Activities for children will also be available.

The final strategic plan will include:

• Council’s updated vision for Edmonton in 2050
• Principles which will guide City Council’s decision making
• 10-year strategic goals which will influence the delivery of City services

An online survey is available on the website between March 16 – 30 for those unable to attend one of the sessions.
