Statistics Canada Permitted to Solicit in NFN for the 2026 Census

Nipissing First Nation Residents:

Please be advised that Chief and Council have granted Statistics Canada permission to go home-to-home in Nipissing First Nation for the 2026 Census.

Enumerators from Statistics Canada will be in NFN from May 12 to July 30, 2026 to collect data. They will have a letter on-hand from NFN and a name tag to verify their role and all data they collect is strictly confidential.

We ask that you are receptive and respectful during these visits and participate in the 2026 Census to provide factual data for the betterment of our Nation.
