Gross domestic product by industry, July 2024
Real gross domestic product rose 0.2% in July as increases in both services-producing industries and goods-producing industries drove the growth.
Energy statistics, July 2024
Primary energy production rose 0.8% in July, with increases from all but two subsectors. Secondary energy production (+0.7%) also posted an increase with gains from the refined petroleum products (+0.4%) and secondary electricity (+3.6%) subsectors.
National culture indicators, second quarter 2024
Real gross domestic product (GDP) for the culture and sport sectors in Canada was up 0.6% in the second quarter, slightly above the real GDP growth rate of the total economy (+0.5%). On a nominal basis, GDP for the culture and sport sectors rose 1.6% in the second quarter as prices increased in all culture and sport domains during the quarter.

Production and disposition of tobacco products, August 2024
Canadian manufacturers produced 831 million cigarettes in August 2024, down 28.9% from July 2024. Cigarette production was 17.7% lower compared with August 2023.
Poultry and egg statistics, September 2024
Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats, as well as edible dried egg products, are now available for September 2024. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for August 2024, and data on egg production are available for July 2024.
