There were 25.8% (+150,300) more vacancies in the second quarter of 2021 than in the same quarter two years earlier.

New data on home buyers who purchased a property in 2018 show that, in British Columbia, around 10% of buyers purchased a home in groups of three or more, and that first-time home buyers earned a higher income than repeat buyers.

Today, Statistics Canada is releasing a study entitled “Low-income statistics for the population living on reserve and in the North using the 2016 Census,” which empirically investigates the production of low-income statistics for the North and Indigenous communities.
