Foreign investment in Canadian securities strengthened for a third straight month to reach $17.2 billion in March. Meanwhile, Canadian investment in foreign securities amounted to $2.3 billion and was led by US corporate instruments.

Non-Aboriginal adults aged 25 to 54 with lower literacy skills were 12 percentage points more likely to be employed in 2012 than off-reserve First Nations adults with higher literacy skills.

Annual telecommunications statistics, 2014
Operating revenues for the telecommunications industry increased 2.5% from 2013 to $58.8 billion in 2014, while operating expenses rose 3.1% to $46.5 billion. As a result, the industry generated a 20.8% operating profit margin.
Specialized design services, 2014
The specialized design services industry group, which includes interior, industrial, graphic and other specialized design services, generated $3.0 billion in total operating revenue in 2014, up 2.8% from 2013. Total operating expenses grew 1.2% to $2.3 billion.
