Canadian Health Measures Survey: Household and physical measures data, 2016 and 2017
Sleep duration and sleep quality are both important factors for the overall health of a person. Sleep apnea is a condition that can affect both sleep duration and sleep quality. It is characterized by periods of breathing interruptions during sleep, and is associated with cardiovascular disease and other heart-related conditions.
Natural gas transmission, storage and distribution, August 2018
Natural gas transmission pipelines received 565.8 million gigajoules of natural gas from fields, gathering systems and plants in August, up 6.0% from the same month in 2017. The vast majority of receipts were in Alberta (69.6%) and British Columbia (28.2%).
Production and disposition of tobacco products, September 2018
Canadian manufacturers produced 1.7 billion cigarettes in September, down 8.4% from August. Cigarette production increased 1.4% compared with the same month a year earlier.
