Industrial capacity utilization rates, second quarter 2014

Canadian industries operated at 82.7% of their production capacity in the second quarter, up 0.6 percentage points from the first quarter. Manufacturing industries as a whole were the main source of this increase.

Culture Satellite Account, 2010

Today, Statistics Canada releases the first Canadian Culture Satellite Account, which estimates that culture contributed 3.1% to the Canadian economy in 2010 while sport contributed 0.3%.
