Winter has arrived! We hope everyone is looking forward to all the wonderful activities this season brings!

We invite you to keep warm with us in the brand new Persephone Theatre Backstage Stage for our latest production, The (Post) Mistress by acclaimed musician, composer, novelist and playwright, Tomson Highway!

The (Post) Mistress is the tale of small town postmistress Marie-Louise who has the ability to see the lives and stories behind each sealed letter that she touches, and she shares this gossip with the audience through twelve charming and hilarious songs. This multi-genre musical features the French, Cree and English languages and boasts a popular soundtrack, nominated for a Juno Award and three Indigenous Music Awards!

Tomson Highway himself joins us as Musical Director and live Pianist for the production, and Patricia Cano stars as Marie-Louise in all evening performances! Saskatoon’s own Krystle Pederson will perform as Marie-Louise in all matinees.
