Tungasuvvingat Inuit (TI) seeks New Board Members
Press Release –
The Board of Directors of Tungasuvvingat Inuit (TI) is seeking to fill vacant positions on the Board at the Annual General Meeting on September 25, 2014. TI is inviting interested individuals who are at least 18 years of age to express their interest in this volunteer position by September 24, 2014.
TI is a Not for Profit and a Registered Charity that provides Inuit specific programs, services, and support to empower and enhance the lives of Inuit. TI was founded in 1987 providing support to Inuit living in Ontario and is responsive to community needs offering a holistic approach to a broad range of services.
Board members have a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise and share a common interest in community services for Inuit living outside of Inuit Nunangat.
The Board normally meets 6-8 times per year and as needed for special projects or initiatives.
