Warm weather, low precipitation spark Lake Babine Nation concern – My Prince George Now

The Lake Babine Nation is urging residents to not have, or exercise caution around campfires.
It added its territory spans both the Northwest and Prince George fire centres, both currently under a category 2 and 3 fire ban.
“I wouldn’t recommend having a campfire, unless the safest precautions are taken,” said Darrell West, Natural Resources Director.
