Wolf Creek Public Schools – Courtney Skjonsberg Appointed Indigenous Learning Support Coach – ENC

Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Courtney Skjonsberg as Indigenous Learning Support Coach for the 2026/27 school year.
Skjonsberg has been with WCPS since 2015, teaching at Ponoka Elementary School, and brings extensive experience in Indigenous Education and Reconciliation, literacy support, staff learning, and relationship-building. She has served in a variety of leadership roles across the division, including as a member of the Indigenous Education and Reconciliation School Lead Team, First Nations, Métis and Inuit Lead Teacher, mentor teacher, and Acting Administrator during the 2025/26 school year.
