There are many excellent graphic novels that focus on Indigenous history.

Haida artist Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas is considered “the father of Haida manga”: a contemporary subgenre of comic art that combines Haida motifs with design elements of manga from Japanese, Korean and Chinese sources.
