Britco and Seyem’ Qwantlen Business Group Enter Business Partnership

Press Releases

Fort Langley, BC (October 22, 2015) Seyem’ Qwantlen Business Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kwantlen First Nation, and Britco have signed a revenue sharing memorandum of understanding in which both parties will work together to execute modular construction and building rental projects on the traditional territory of the Kwantlen First Nation.

“Britco and Seyem’ Qwantlen Business Group have been collaborating on existing projects,” said Obie Erickson, President of Britco. “We’re excited to add this revenue sharing agreement to our current relationship.”

Earlier this year, Britco and Seyem’ Qwantlen Business Group announced that they were partnering to provide internet connectivity systems in Britco rental buildings through Kwantlen First Nation’s IT company, Coast Salish Technologies.

“As we continue to explore our business relationship with Britco, more and more opportunities come to light – which makes this a great partnership,” said Tumia Knott, Councillor for the

Kwantlen First Nation.

The agreement also includes jobs and skills training opportunities in the construction trades for members of the Kwantlen First Nation at Britco’s modular construction facilities.
