Call for Nomination: Elders – Youth – Social and Cultural Committee

The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is looking for an energetic and dynamic individuals to fill the following committee positions. To be considered, candidates must be actively and personally committed to represent the interests of beneficiaries of the Baffin Region as well as a sound understanding of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (NLCA) as pertaining to the roles and mandates of the committee, for which he/she is seeking nomination.

 (1) Elder’s Representative (3 year term)
 (1) Youth Representative (3 year term)
 (1) QIA Social and Cultural Committee (3 year term)

QIA wishes to ensure the fullest beneficiary participation in the implementation of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement. As such, QIA has implemented an open and accountable process for considering qualified beneficiaries. Please note that a criminal records check may be required for appointments/nominations.
