Fuel prices set to decrease on January 1, 2016

Prices for petroleum products in Nunavut will decrease in the new year.

The Petroleum Products Division of the Department of Community and Government Services purchases the bulk fuel supply for the territory on world markets. Due to a drop in world market prices, the Petroleum Products Division is now able to pass those savings to Nunavummiut.

Prices for both diesel and gasoline will go down by 10 cents/litre ($0.10/litre).

These new prices are effective in all Nunavut communities starting January 1, 2016.
