Battlefords RCMP: Saulteaux First Nation man reported missing

RCMP say a 55-year-old man from the Saulteaux First Nation north of the Battlefords has been reported missing.

According to police, Eugene Rider was last seen Saturday evening, January 3rd, leaving a home on the first nation near Cochin. His vehicle was found abandoned a short distance from his home.

Rider is described as 5’10”, 185 lbs., with long greying hair and glasses. When last seen, he was wearing a black zip-up coat with a hoodie, and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
