AGGIQ Arctic Performing Arts Summit starts next week in Iqaluit, from March 14th-19th!
The Summit will be the kick-off for Qaggiq, and will provide us with direction from artists on the types of programming they see is needed. The 2016 Summit is the fourth annual Performing Arts Summit organized by the Qaggiavuut Society and this year will include Inuit artists from Nunavik and Nunatsiavut. From March 13th to 19th Arctic Performing Artists will gather in Iqluit to participate in the Summit, including:
business skills development;
master classes;
consultations;
acting & performance skills building;
choreography skills development;
and professionalism skills development.
The summit will culminate with a PUBLIC PERFORMANCE on March 19th at 7pm.
