Public Service Announcement

The 8th annual Celebration of the seal events are March 19–26.

Community members are invited to join Celebration of the seal events in:

Pangnirtung
o March 21, 2016; time TBD, at the community hall
Iqaluit
o March 26, 2016, at 2 p.m., at Inuksuk High School Tisi
Rankin Inlet
o March 26, 2016, time and location TBD

Come out to celebrate the importance of seal in Nunavut, and join us for a feast of seal and Arctic char. Activities will include: musical entertainment, Inuit games, throat singing and seal skinning. Everyone is encouraged to wear sealskin clothing; prizes will be given for the most beautiful outfits.
