CAEFS, along with The Council of Elizabeth Fry Societies of Ontario (CEFSO), The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA), The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, Luke’s Place and Professor Nicole Myers, Queen’s University collaborated on this press release in response to the shortsighted and dangerous calls for amendments to the Criminal Code from the Ontario government, aimed at tightening bail legislation.
