Three First Nations complained to the city, said Sarnia’s mayor

Sarnia city council is asking Coun. Bill Dennis to issue a written apology over Indigenous mural remarks.

The motion, put forward by Coun. Adam Kilner, was one of a handful approved during Tuesday’s special meeting at city hall.

“This is not why I want my city to be on national news … not undermining historic relationships,” Kilner said.
