Edmonton opens applications for Indigenous Artist-in-Residence – HeartlandNews.ca

The City of Edmonton is accepting applications for the 2026-27 Indigenous Artist-in-Residence program.

Indigenous artists working across different mediums, including traditional and contemporary Indigenous artists, fine craft, music and more are eligilble to apply.

The artist that is selected will create a new body of work during the residency and share it through a final public showcase. The artist will receive a dedicated workspace provided by the city, along with opportunities to contribute to public programming.
