The Marguerite Riel Centre in Melfort is hosting its fourth annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous Walk on Friday.
The event will begin at noon at Memorial Gardens with a barbecue.
Kevin Arcand with the Marguerite Riel Centre said all proceeds will go toward supporting the centre’s youth programming.
“Then, at 1 p.m., we’ll begin the walk, led by the Whitefish Juniors drum group from Big River First Nation,” Arcand told northeastNOW.
