The gallery’s volunteer association is hosting a ticketed appraisal day aimed at raising funds for collection development and acquisitions
On Saturday, May 2 from 12-4 p.m., the Art Gallery of Guelph will host a variety of knowledgeable appraisers who will assess and evaluate prized possessions and unusual finds. All are invited to bring personal treasures and heirlooms to the gallery for an Antiques Roadshow-style fundraising event run by the gallery’s volunteer association and organized by McMaster Fine Art. Get on-the-spot verbal appraisals for jewellery, art, Inuit objects, textile art, stamps, and coins from the region’s experts.
