Building Financial Confidence: New Event Supports Indigenous Wellness – CJWE

A financial wellness event has been put forward by a local Piikani Nation woman who promises to help Indigenous peoples strengthen their financial literacy through gatherings. The program, brought forward by the City of Calgary Neighborhood Grant program will connect participants with a certified financial empowerment facilitator, Theodora WarriorHealy.

The event will teach attendees about improving income streams, financial literacy and credit. CJWE spoke with Theodora about the event, and the ideal attendees for the event.
