Would you like to help guide the future of trades in Nunavut?
The Nunavut Apprenticeship, Trade and Occupations Certification (NATOC) Board is accepting applications and nominations for Nunavummiut who would like to serve as a member of the NATOC Board for a two-year term.
The board is an advisory group that provides strategic direction and recommendations to the minister of Family Services, and receives and reviews appeals under the Apprenticeship, Trade and Occupations Certification Act.
The board meets up to six times per year to provide advice to the minister of Family Services on matters related to apprenticeship, trade and occupations.
Potential board members must be Nunavut residents with relevant knowledge and experience: Individuals who maintain an active awareness of trades and industry developments in Nunavut are encouraged to apply. Potential board members must have work experience as an active journeyperson in one of Nunavut’s designated trades, with no less than five years of experience after obtaining trade certification.
