What’s on the agenda for the House and Senate committees today.
With just days to go before the chamber shuts down for the final extended hiatus before the final stretch of the sitting, several Team Carney front benchers are set to appear before their respective home committees to go over the latest estimates, including Canadian Identity Marc Miller at CANADIAN HERITAGE (11 a.m.), and Government Transformation Minister Joël Lightbound and Treasury Board President Shafqat Ali at GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ESTIMATES. (3:30 p.m.)
For his part, Government House Leader Steven MacKinnon is booked in for a one-hour session at PROCEDURE AND HOUSE AFFAIRS to field questions on his government’s proposal to update federal election laws. (11 a.m.)
