Information Systems Manager

Under the direction of Nunavut Tunngavik Inc.’s (NTI) Information Systems Manager in the Communications Division of the Department of Corporate Services, the Information Systems Officer provides helpdesk and Records and Information Management (RIM) technical support to end users in Cambridge Bay. The incumbent will receive and document incidents and requests for informatics and RIM services. The Information Systems Officer will assemble, configure, install, upgrades and maintain client computer work stations. This position also provides general communications officer duties in Cambridge Bay.

The ideal candidate must possess a certificate in Information Technology. Typical qualifications include previous experience in a networked environment, with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, and other back end products. Experience working with client software, which includes Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products, Symantec Anti-Virus. Information Systems Officer will have the ability to add, remove, or upgrade computer components and hardware and have the ability to provide professional and courteous correspondence with clients and vendors. Information Systems Officer will also have the ability to meet demanding deadlines while managing multiple priorities under high levels of stress and pressure. Preference will be given to Inuit who are enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.

NUNAVUT TUNNGAVIK INCORPORATED

Starting salary is $72,920.00 per annum (commensurate with experience) and a Northern Allowance and Housing Allowance of $24,000.00 per annum.
