Group will meet 2-4 times per year, provide advice to Hydro’s board
A new advisory board has been created to “provide knowledge, advice and perspectives” to Manitoba Hydro on Indigenous reconciliation.
The provincial Crown corporation announced the appointment of members to the new Indigenous advisory circle on Tuesday.
It will be co-chaired by Robert Wavey, who has served as chief, councillor, CEO and senior negotiator with Fox Lake Cree Nation. He is also a former chair of Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak and the Keewatin Tribal Council.
