The Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency Supports Economic Development Across the Three Territories
February 10, 2014 Ottawa, ON – Office of the Minister of the Environment, Minister of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor), and Minister for the Arctic Council
The Honourable Leona Aglukkaq congratulates the Kitikmeot Tradeshow for their 15th year of promoting partnerships and business opportunities in the Kitikmeot region, through Nunavut and across Canada.
The Kitikmeot Trade Show is an important opportunity for delegates, exhibitors and guests to network, gather information, and explore business opportunities in the region. The Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency’s mandate is to promote economic development and prosperity across Canada’s three territories. It is a hub for northern economic development, working with Northerners to come up with new and innovative ideas to create jobs and growth in the North.
“As Regional Minister for the North and Minister of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, I would like to congratulate the Kitikmeot Tradeshow for celebrating their 15th anniversary celebration for promoting economic opportunities in Nunavut. The key to economic prosperity is through networks and partnerships and the Kitikmeot Tradeshow continues to foster opportunities for this to happen.”
