On behalf of the Moose Cree First Nation, Chief Norm Hardisty Jr., offers congratulations to newly elected Mushkegowuk Council Grand Chief, Jonathan Solomon, and newly elected Deputy Grand Chief, Rebecca Friday.

Chief Hardisty specifically identified the need for a collective strategy to address concerns in relation to health care and health governance in the Mushkegowuk area, along with establishing a clear position on resource development in the Mushkegowuk region as areas requiring further dialogue and attention.

“I look forward to working with Grand Chief Solomon and Deputy Grand Chief Friday in the years to come as we work together to develop and implement collective strategies, as appropriate, and to work cooperatively in protecting and asserting our rights,” stated Chief Hardisty.
