The erosion of shorelines is presenting as a global challenge. This is of particular concern for Canada — which has the largest coastline in the world — and especially for Indigenous nations. Important traces of cultural heritage and legacy are being literally washed away. What exactly are the challenges we face, and what strategies have proven successful?
