Fifteen years ago auditor general issued first of many reports on vulnerable children.

While Nunavut’s government says it will make protecting vulnerable children a priority in this legislative session, it continues to struggle to meet its own goals of fixing a long-standing crisis in its child welfare system.

According to a briefing by the Department of Family Services (DFS), fewer than a third of the plans written to fix the system have been implemented.
