Healthy Children Initiative program

The Department of Education is currently accepting community funding requests for the proposed 2016-17 Healthy Children Initiative program. The goal of this initiative is to have healthy children growing up with strong, supportive families in caring communities.

Funding is provided for communities to develop or improve programs for children aged 0-6 and their families. Programs should highlight early intervention and/or supportive services for young children.

The deadline to submit proposals is March 15, 2016.
