The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off in the city in just over one month.
With nearly one month to go before the 2026 FIFA World Cup arrives in Toronto, Nathan Phillips Square has been transformed.
As Toronto gears up to host six matches during the World Cup, the iconic skating rink at the Square has been turned into a soccer pitch. Along with that, World Cup signage has been plastered throughout the Square around city hall.
So, next time you’re passing by 100 Queen St. W. be sure to take a photograph by the colourful transformation.
