Social assistance review: Iqaluit public meeting Start

Do you have suggestions for improving social assistance?The Departments of Family Services and Economic Development and Transportation are holding public meetings in every community to gather information about social assistance so changes can be made to better support training, career development, employment and economic opportunities for Nunavummiut.

The community engagement process began in September, and one of the final public meetings is scheduled in Iqaluit:

• Tuesday, November 24, at the Anglican Parish hall, from 7-9 p.m.

Door prizes and light refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome.
