Commemorating a Decade Long Partnership: Halalt First Nation and TimberWest

Over the past decade, Halalt First Nation and TimberWesthave built a solid relationship focused on forest stewardship. Both groups have partnered on numerous reforestation projects, forest fire management and general forest management practices on TimberWest lands over that time.  Halalt First Nation also has its own wood lot and TimberWest has provided support through expertise in log marketing andforest management, including the seedlings needed to reforest the woodlot.

Together, Halalt First Nation and TimberWest continue to carefully steward the land and support communities that depend on the forest economy.
