Natural Gas Expansion Approved In Lambton, Perth Counties – Bayshore Broadcasting News

Ontario Energy Board approved gas expansion in Lambton Shores, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation.
The Ontario Energy Board has given Union Gas the go-ahead to expand service to several communities in Lambton and Perth Counties.
The approval covers the Kettle and Stoney Point First Nation, Lambton Shores, and the Perth County communities of Milverton, Rostock and Wartburg.
The approval comes after the OEB late last year issued a new regulatory framework for expansion of natural gas service into more rural and northern communities.
Union Gas officials say the approval marks the first wave of a multi-year service expansion, with Union Gas as the provider.
