The OIPRD is inviting feedback and recommendations from the public to understand community relations and policing in Thunder Bay. In particular, the OIPRD is conducting a systemic review of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s policies, practices and attitudes regarding missing person and death investigations involving Indigenous Peoples. For further information, please see the attached Terms of Reference.

Topics for discussion will include:

• Police — Indigenous — Community relations
• Racism and bias in policing
• Effective policing
